I am not an expert in anyway, I got some filament stuck in the head and so the printer went without being used. After months of trying, I did get the filament unstuck and extruding again but now it's not printing correctly and it seems to be a software problem. I need helping fixing it. It seems as though the printer head does not move up the z axis as it should.

I am attaching g-code, video, print file, and a picture of the object that printed. Please give me some advice... Thank you!

Here is a link to the object that was being printed: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1904654
Here is a link to the video of the print job:

Here is how the object printed:

    Which printer exactly?
Beta? (not a beta since it has an R1 bed unless you did the bed upgrade)
    R1?
    R1+?

Can't really tell from the video.

Looks like it may have the incorrect firmware (wrong steps for Z). The only real mechanical difference in all of those models is the z steps so the incorrect firmware will do what you see -- not move the Z up enough and wreck your print. Let's make sure you have the right firmware first.

It looks like I have the ROBOR1PLUSV2 installed. So maybe that is it...

    Thank you...
It is printing correctly now with matter control. However it is still printing incorrectly in Simplify 3d. So now I need to figure what setting is causing this.

If you want to cheat (and dig for it) @mark tomlinson and I have both put our simplify 3d .fff files somewhere on this forum (multiple times). You will still have to adjust things like the z offset and temperatures/speeds but its a starting point with a known workable profile.

I was able to reset to default settings in Simplify3d and this fixed my issue. Thanks everyone!
