    Hi Robo community,
I just installed a E3D V6 hotend on my printer today and most everything seemed to work fine until I started trying to get Cura working on my printer. I followed a tutorial posted by someone on this forum. But then I noticed the hotend fan was off and not turning on. As well as the D9 fan. The D9 fan hasn't worked yet but the hotend fan worked before I added Cura to my printer, can someone help me fix this and get my fans and Cura working? Thanks

Sounds like a bad connection/wire to the fan or, perhaps a failed fan. You can try testing the fan directly across a 12v line to make sure it works.

Double check the connection for the 12v fan as mark said. The polarity does matter so make sure you have the red wire connected to the 12v+ terminal.

The parts fan is controlled through software. You need to enable it for it to run. Measure the voltage across D9 if you enable it and the fan isn't turning on.
