First layer on support is awfull

    Hi
    I use Cura and ABS. Stock extruder, 230°C.
    The first layer just after support material is really awfull, see the pics.
    Do you have the same results on your prints ?

    Try applying your slurry when the bed is hot. It'll go down cleaner.

    Second, you can try increasing the support spacing to help it lay down layers better on support

    I have never found the magic settings that make support work very well. It is normally a bit of a hassle to remove (at best) and the look of what is left is less than attractive without a lot of cleanup. I just try to avoid needing it whenever possible (split models, etc.)

    try cura for suppor. worked grea for me but make sure to go into cura expert setings and change support to "lines" and not grid as grid is bad and too tough to break off
