Unanswered General Question

    Hi Guys, I have a question that i thought someone may know the answer.

    The electrical board of the ROBO3D is an open source one or specifically designed for ROBO3D ? If i use the board to create my own custom 3D printer with ROBO's Board , or possibly sell my new designed printer , is that okay with ROBO or not ? If not , where can i purchase an open source board to use to create my own 3D printer ?

    Well, it is an Arduino Mega with a Ramps 1.4 daughtercard.
    Just to be clear.

    The code/firmware is all on the Arduino.

    It says Arduino Mega in the description on that link Mark. Just an FYI

    Thank you for the reply. Does this mean i can use the same board for myself or making new printer using the same board without getting permission from anyone ?

    yes. There are a number of printers that uses those same boards.
