Ive been using lines for support material but I recently tried to use grids and it seems to work much better. My question is this. Does using the grids option use a lot more material than using lines?

    I usually use a honeycomb.
I am sure that the grids/combs do use more filament, but are structurally stronger as well.

Mark he means support not infill

I find lines easier to remove but a dense grid gives better printing over support
