I noticed that my heated bed was decreasing in heat when my print was not starting, upon inspection of the back of the heated bed I noticed that the positive wire for the power to the bed had worked its way out of the connector (on the printer itself not on the bottom of the heated bed ). Does anyone have any suggestions on reattaching it? I was going to just melt the plastic of the connector solder the wire back in place and cover the thing in hot glue, but hot glue might not be the best idea considering its right under the heated bed. If anyone has any suggestions on how to reattach without destroying the connector it would be much appreciated.

I'm not familiar with hat connector type, but does it have any flaps or something that would allow you to remove the connector?

It might require a connector tool to remove. Was this coming from the heat bed? Or from underneath?

There is no way to remove it that I see. It is the connector that comes up from the bottom of the printer and connects to the bottom of the heated bed 20140606_175617.jpg

Totally off-topic, but I love that new Y axis drive. Can't wait to get back home and get mine installed.

Yeah it's unfortunate but shipping does hell to printers. You can still print PLA since that doesn't require a heated bed.

They generally respond to technical support requests within 24 hours during business days. I'd bet they could ship you a replacement on monday and get it 2 days later assuming you're in the states.

Matter control wont let you print unless the bed temp is 55°C. Can you change that if so how? That is the reason I took off the bed; it wasn't getting above 55° and wouldn't let be print.

Are you trying like a test print? You need to tell it to have a 0C bed when you slice

Would I input that under custom G-code or somewhere else?
