Unresolved help with repair ( hilfe mit reperatur)

    Hi i hope that someone can help me with my Beta i live in Holland and looking for someone to help me with repairs for the printer .
    i changed the ramps arduino and stepperdrivers , butt now its totaly stoped.
    i can go to Germany as well ( im at the border )
    so pleasse i need some help !


    Hi ich bin auf der suche nach eine der mir kan helfen mit meine 3d drucker Beta ich wohne in der nahe von Meppen und suche hilfe mein 3d drucker habe ich jetzt mit neuhe arduino board gemacht und ramps un der stepper drivers auch erneut aber jetzt macht er nichts mehr , ich hoffe das ich etwas hore .

    Define totally stopped. Does it move at all? If so is it able to print? What firmware did you use on the new board? Holland is too far for me, but maybe we can help remotely.

    Did you reload the firmware?
    Are you getting anything in the GCode terminal (any response from the printer at all)?

    Haben neu laden Sie die Firmware?
    Sind Sie immer alles im GCode Terminal (jede Antwort vom Drucker überhaupt )?

    no nothing att all ,i have putt a lcd on it as well but now nothing annymore ,is it possible that the stepperdrivers ar not good?i did putt new ones in and now its totaly silent ,it doesnot connect to the pc as well ,i think the arduino and ramps are burnt again , then it must be electric,i have no clue what to do there are no repair shops in holland and sending it to the states is maybe to costley i think

    Hello. the 2 boards are very cheap on Amazon. You have to hook up the arudino board through the computer even though you have the LCD so you can load the firmware otherwise it will appear "dead". After you upload the firmware please let me know what happens and I will be able to assist online (as will others).

    Hallo. die 2 Boards sind sehr günstig bei Amazon. Sie müssen die arudino Board über den Computer anschließen, obwohl Sie das LCD, so dass Sie die Firmware laden kann sonst wird es "tot" erscheinen.     a second though comes to mind, if you hook the USB to the arduino it should flash (red LED light), if its not its possible you have a short on the Ramps board (wire in the wrong place or jumpers in the wrong place etc). Can you attach some photos of your wiring (they need to be good and clear) and I can take a look at that as well. To verify there is nothing wrong with the wiring you can remove the ramps from the arduino and see if you can load the firmware then. If yes....there is a problem with the wiring or the ramps board.

    obwohl eine zweite in den Sinn kommt, wenn Sie den USB an den Arduino Haken sollte blinken (rote LED-Licht), wenn es nicht sein mögliches haben Sie eine kurze auf den Rampen Board (Draht an der falschen Stelle oder Jumper an der falschen Stelle usw. ). Können Sie einige Fotos von Ihrer Verkabelung (sie müssen gut sein und klar) befestigen, und ich kann das auch einen Blick darauf werfen. Um zu überprüfen, es ist nichts falsch mit der Verkabelung Sie die Rampen aus dem Arduino entfernen können und sehen, ob Sie die Firmware laden können dann. Wenn ja .... es gibt ein Problem mit der Verkabelung oder der Rampen Bord.

    ok guys thanks for the info i'm a few days away a will post oics when i'm back i hope there is something wrong in the way i wired everything upp so thanks again , i'll be back Monday and post the pic's

    Hi jig. In your last photo you can see pins nit in the black connector where the ramps(red board) attaches the the arduino (bottom board). They need to be correctly seated or they wont work.

    The cheaper boards (while fine to use) are sometimes a little harder to assemble correctly since not everything lines up perfectly out f the box. That is a hard one to see unless you really look for it. Good eye @Geof

    thanks guys i didnot see that before , butt still nothing on the boards so i will thaken them tommorow apart and putt the arduino straight on the pc to see wat is happening ,so i will be back tommorow again whit updates ,thanks again Geof for your suport !see you tommorow ,and thanks for the help so far keep you updateted withe the progress.

    Ok guys thanks again for your help ,my arduino is working, i think my ramps is gone again , i did have the arduino alone on the pc and the pc see the board , when i did screw everything together again it didnot see it att al ,i even did putt the 'old'stepper drivers on it but still nothing . so ll will be ordering a new ramps again , and lett you now hou the progress is . thanks again , i'll make a new reply wen i have the ramps !
