Answered Here we go again with temp issues

    Ok, so I have replaced 3 thermistors now. I am still getting this error code. I am trying to print at 205C and it starts there just fine. it will print for 15-20 min and the temp will creep very slowly on me until it hits 194C then it fails. whats the problem?

    Heater failing ? Air blowing on the hotend or nozzle ?

    I use the e3d volcano so there is a constant fan above the heat break. Maybe I should turn my parts cooling fan to 50%? Weird thing is if I print at 195, it holds temp ok. Just not above there

    It is probably a temp fall error. The problem is that this:

    RECEIVED: Printer stopped due to errors. Fix the error and use M999 to restart. (Temperature is reset. Set it after restarting)

    IS NOT THE ACTUAL ERROR. So we are guessing. The real error is scrolled off the screen and unless you go back through the entire log you will not find it. It is however likely that the real error is:

    TEMP FELL TOO MUCH DURING PRINT

    Which is a thermistor or heater core issue (just a guess without the error).

    Could be a failing heater. I dont run a volcano so im not familiar with the set up, but id think heater issue if it will hold at 195. If thats true then turning down the fan may help temporarily

    The volcano (I have one) is perfectly capable of extreme temperatures. This is either a bad/loose thermistor or a bad heater core.

    Unless the issue is at the board with the thermistor, it may be the heater core. Not sure how to check that though

    I dont know how to check them i just replace if they go wierd on me. Their cheap on amazon. 10 bucks for 5 pc 40watt heaters
