Unanswered Hex fan question

    I have an R1+. I started having a problem with extrusion stopping after about 5 to 7 minutes. I thought it might have been a thermistor issue, but I noticed when removing the hex that the hex fan was very hot and running erratically. Im starting to think now it is the hex fan. My question is what type of fan do I need for a replacement?

    12vdc, not sure of the exact size 25 or 30mm I think (I do not have a hex to compare to).
    @Geof or someone with a hex handy can chime in
