Turn it on it's side so you can get a good look at the RAMPs board. You'll see the 4 stepper miniboards. Look at the wiring around 'E0'. It may have been pulled loose when you were moving the bed wires around.

Probably a wire knocked loose on the RAMPS board (under the bottom).

I hate the teardown for the Y belt crap.

On preview.. What donhuevo said :)

That's good news Peter. OK, after asking you many times to check the Y belt assembly I've just got to say "I told you so" ;) . The Y limit switch being loose will not affect the print as long as it gets triggered.

Thanks everyone. I got it. Took some time trying to figure out the orientation of the plug as well as which one to put it in where the E0 ports are. There's two!

And it's now printing. I am printing a barrel. Round shape. We'll see how it comes out.

Here's some pics of my journey.

I was looking for that E0 and finally found it.

Here is a comparison. The one on the left is before the tightening up of the y axis belt bolts.

Still noticing a bit of a wobble at about 10 mm up and it's leaning a bit. But it's like night and day. Totally smoother and round looking compared to the left version before.

Now I just have to reprint everything!

Still got a problem - it shifts to one side. Use to be straight up with some shifting.

What could this be a cause of?

Here is a pic of how it printed before

Is that X or Y shift?

If it is Y is the belt too tight now? If I recall you had Y problems and tightened the Y belt. This did not fix the problem so you took the bed off and found that the bearing bolts were loose. Perhaps the Y belt needs to be set back the way it was. Does the bed move smoothly by hand?

Looks like that darn y axis gear was loose. Had to tighten It again. Now the print is no longer shifting.

I remove the bed to get a better shot at it. Thanks for all your help.

donhuevo was correct. It was a loose y belt gear. I had to find a small enough Allen wrench to be able to tighten it. None of the two that are supplied with the Robo fit.

Here is the latest test cube and how beautiful it looks.

    beautiful.

I had to tighten every screw on every drive component when mine arrived. (and tighten a belt or two). Good work fighting through it. I am quite happy with the quality of prints these days.

It seems to be printing pretty good circles now.

    Thanks again for the help.

The good news is that the belt tension does not need frequent adjustment. Once you get the entire drive train sorted you should be good for a while (after my original loctite sessions back in Oct. I have not had to touch it again).

Here is a nice print I found of a guitar. It came out really nice.

Used PLA 190, using 0.2046 resolution. Noticed a couple of burnt marks right
Around where the screws that hold a real bridge in place. Not sure if this was on purpose or something else went wrong.

I used a 1 mm brim. Next time I won't since it did not need it.
