    Hey guys.

I'm cleaning up the cable mess under my RoBo and one of the ground wires to the PSU fell off.
I've tried to force the PSU out of it's slot for nearly 15 minutes now and I can't get it any further out.

Is there a trick to get it out so I can reach the screws on the terminals?

I ended up bending it out sideways. Luckily no plastic broke or cracked.
The warranty sticker on the PSU got ripped off though. I just hope I won't have any problems with it anytime soon.

I notice you have heat sinks on your Y and Z motors. Did they come stock or did you add them????

I added them myself. Search for heatsinks on ebay and you'll find many like it :)

Getting the power supply back in seems just as hard as getting it out so it sits somewhat back in it's place, heh. At least it's more accessible now!

Edit: Why is the PSU mounted with the fan up anyway? The holes at the bottom side is somewhat covered with plastic and the top side has freely open holes. Also mounted upside up makes it pull in hot air from the build area.

Your assuming the fan is actually pulling air from the build area. This is incorrect, it should be exhausting air in there...

Huh. It looked like it was taking in air when I was looking at it the first time. Looking at it again I see it's an exhaust fan. My bad.

When was your RoBo3D sent? I think mine was one of the last batches before the new bed system was mounted.

That's correct Mike and Mark! Raspberry Pi running OcotPrint :) Being able to print, control and monitor the printer from a PC is awesome!
