is this a common problem with the glass bed?

    is this a common problem? its seems the glass of my bed is breaking off with my prints today. any way to fix or should I just buy another one?

    Not unheard of and not sure how you would repair it.
    Sometimes the prints are rather aggressively stuck and the glass can chip/flake.

    A replacement is the only permanent solution I know of.

    I had exactly the same problem but I was told that the warantee only covers the glass bed during shipping. I filled the holes with a two part heat-resistant epoxie and then sanded them. But now other bits are coming off - only using PLA with light PVA glue mixture.

    I bought a new bed ... Installed kapton tape on old and new bed ... Going to replace my old bed when chips get unbearable.
    I noticed aggressive use of stick glue (in my case) is usually the culprit.
