Unanswered layer height ?

    hi everyone so i have a e3d v6 hot end i'm printing at .4mm layer height but i'm getting a lot of layer separation and rounded not sharp corners i'm printing at 240 degrees with abs. any suggestions ?

    Unless you are using a bigger nozzle, the default 0.4 mm nozzle cannot print at a 0.4 mm layer height. The general rule of thumb (although ratios vary slightly depending on who you speak to) is that layer height as a function of orifice diameter should be in the 25 - 75% range. That means that you can expect results with a 0.3 mm maximum layer height, of course you might be able to get results slightly (like hundredths of a mm) higher too, but it will require work.
