    Hi guys,
I have recently been experiencing a problem! My bed cannot exceed 90 degrees celcius. Also my printer when heating up sounds a loud fan and then the bed gradually cools down, the fan goes off then it heats up again. It takes my bed a while to heat up now. A solution will ne greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

Which printer version? (more importantly which firmware) They added a limit (85 deg C I think) in one of the firmware releases.
Sounds like that is what you might be hitting.

Dont worry, I went ahead and downloaded the one you said and kept the max bed temp at default (115) and when it got to about 86 degrees the loud fan came back on and started cooling :(

Do you get an error in the software? Open terminal then try heating.

So use a different software then. I'm not here to hold your hand. Give me information, I'm not psychic.

Call simplify3d if the problem is isolated to that.

Okay so I am using simplify3d and I open up the terminal and when it heats up to around 80 degrees the fan comes on, no warning or errors come up in the terminal. My max temp is set to 115 for the bed on the new software you gave me. I flashed it and everything

    What fan.

Might be tripping your polyfuse. Do you have a fan on it?

Also try in repetier. Isolate the issue

When it goes over 86 deg a loud fan comes on then the bed cools down.
Can you please explain what the polyfuse is and where is located? I will try repetier soon :)

Tell me which fan you mean. Stop saying "A fan" there's 4 fans on it. Tell me which exactly.

Also google it man. Ramps polyfuse
