Solved Material file import into Cura fails for Robo PLA

    Looks like there's a bug in Cura which prevents the installation attempt in which you're attempting to import the downloaded Robo PLA.xml.fdm_material file. It's necessary manually edit the file with a text editor to remove the line...

    <compatible>True</compatible>

    Seems to now work as expected, providing Robo as a manufacturer in the Materials drop-down with Robo PLA as the material.

    Noting that you may need to re-import and choose the Activate button. Cura 2.3.1 may continue to not save these after a session. Just re-import and you're good to go.
