From the Robo site you can download version 1.5 of MatterControl which I believe updates to 1.6 However, the MatterControl site itself is at 1.7 Which site is "best" to download from? The reason I ask, I just installed the latest patch to Sierra and MatterControl would no longer run. Besides the Robo logo inside the preview window, are there other advantages to using the Robo-branded version?

There are no advantages to running any version of MatterControl. Period.

    Check out Slic3r or Cura.

Download from MatterHackers, if MatterControl is what you are comfortable with.

Version 1.7.5 is the latest version which I use. It has some issues that they are going to correct in the next build which is going to be released some time over the summer. I was told that it will work better with 64 bit platforms. Which version of Windows do you use?
