My heat bed wont stop heating after recall?

    Yes, that sounds about right. Q3 in this case.
    If you wanted to try and repair it yourself (well, you COULD just swap the board) that would be a starting point.

    I have a similar problem. I found heat/arcing damage to the connector under the bed, but i suspect thats as a result of the FET failing since the bed heats up uncontrolled.

    If you can handle a soldering iron, replacing it is not a huge problem. If you can find someone who can solder, hand 'em a 6-pack for their effort (for consumption AFTER of course).

    Yeah i'm happy with a soldering iron. Found some of the MOSFETS at RS components, should have them in a couple of days.
    I've also ordered a spare RAMPS board just in case.

    Since i can still print, i'll wait until i've got the RAMPS board before i try replacing the MOSFET. That way if i kill it, i can change the board and not be out of action for long.

    Well i didnt need the spare RAMPS board (this time). Replaced the FET with a new one, and bed temp is controllable again.
