How do I get the print to start again? It is on layer 58/139 and I don't want to start over. I tried hitting pause twice to see if that would work but I got nothing. If I kill the job but leave everything as-is, can I hit start again to have it pick up where it left off?

I am using Repetier and was unable to get it re-started so I killed the job and then had to disconnect and reconnect to get any type of response. I turned off the power-saving on my MacBook but is there anything I can do if this happens again in the future?

You would need to find the last code the printer received (maybe in the log) and then remove the gcode up to that point (except heatup and the z height) then try starting again, hoping your coordinates are accurate

As Mike has indicated, there is no easy way to do this.
I have had some luck in just editing the models and printing the remainder, but that depends on the model.
Generally speaking it is not worth the effort. Just prevent it :)
