    Hi,

I have the printer for about a month and among several issues, the one that bother me the most is the fact that the resistor on the extruder have a shot wire.
With the printer's movement the wire will shot and the print will be compromised, I posted pictures showing what happens.

I would like to know if there is a replacement and how fast can be sent to me.

I bought the printer assembled just because I didnt want to spend time troubleshooting this kind of thing.

    thank you in advance

    Hi,

I have sent on my other request. I have deleted since and dont have the files.

What make me frustrated is that a month old printer started to fall apart. This is not just about the extruder resistors, the newest thing is that I found some bearing balls out of the linear "thing"

The resisitor on the extruder will stop working, because of printer movement and I have to "wiggle"the wire close to the aluminum block so it will start heating up again.

Because of that I really cant do a lot of things, because I have to watch the print process all the time and monitor the temperature. It really F**** me up.

I can live with all the necessary adjustments I have to make before every print, but I cant accept an unreliable hardware, I cant print anything that takes more than 4-5 because I cant be in front of the printer all the time. ie overnight print.

I believe I need help to get this fixed, we are talking about a month old product, how can we work this out????? I am sire that what I need is a new wiring and resistor (if thats possible), and maybe some instructions to how to replaced it (it would be appreciated).

    Hi again,
I collected some more info about my problem.
    I have 3 pictures:
    - showing the temperature fluctuation. it will start dropping for no reason, I will "wiggle" the resistor wire and temperature will start rise again;
    - showing waht wire am I wiggling
    - showing what happen with my prints because of that.

What I am looking here is a way to have my printer fixed, if not by warranty at least by customer support.

I need a new part to replace the defective one. I would need a new hot end, so replacement would be easier and faster.

Please, its been a while since I got my last answer from you guys, all I am trying to do is keep my 2 months old printer working.

    thank in advance

    PC,

It seems like you have a bad connection on your heater resistor. Are you a DIYer? We could have one of our guys get on a Skype call with you and help you fix that connection. Shouldn't be too hard.

    Hi Coby,

I consider myself a DIYer but really dont have a lot of technical background. I do can disassemble things, I would love to get in touch with you guys, my user is pcapelo.

But, as you can see on this picture, my printer officially stop working and I found where the cable was broken.

    PC,

I talked to Jerry and he can get you squared away. We'er going to send you a new heat resistor and once that arrives, we can walk you through how to install it. Email jerry through our technical support contact page on our website https://robo3dprinter.com/pages/technical-support and he should get you all ready and printing again. Hope this helps
