Unresolved Nozzle distance to bed

I don't know as there's a good thread about esteps recently.

 

Well, i printed about 150 prints with no problem using 0 offset, but because zero offset once in a while since the first layer is touching the surface and that is in 2nd layers stops extruding, so i thought if i fix the first layer my problem would be completely solved. now that i can extrude in the first layer , the 2nd layers looks like the distance from nozzle to bed increased and that is why i get prints that are not clean and signs of imperfections everywhere. how do i do e-step calibration ?

You can't do nuttin' good without the initial setup done well. You can screw up the first layer and "get by" as long as it doesn't clog.. but life will be a lot easier if it's right.

ALSO, I bet if you check your g code there's an offset line...?
