So ever since friday, when I installed a pane of PEI onto my build plate my prints have failed repeatedly. It is like the filament that is being layed down somehow gets stuck to the extruder and then proceeds to get all globby. I have played around with the z-offset using the M595Z- command and using a business card. I am printing PLA at 195 and bed at 60. Here is a video of some of the failed prints I think these were prints at a .7 and .8 offset. I am trying to print legs for the robo.
    Here is a video

    Thanks for your help

Anyone have any idea what is causing this or how to fix it?

I'd start with cleaning the pei. It hates dirt and oils from our hands

The picture shows what looks like a really nice first layer (where it worked) so I don't think the Z offset is the problem.
Like @Geof is hinting at -- something is keeping your filament from sticking. That can be the Z offset, but I think not in your case.

Assuming you are still having the problem. With a glass bed a little bit of rubbing alcohol on a rag or a paper towel and rub it on the print bed works for me. It works to clean up the oils.
