    Hi all,
So tried a few prints ( test print went fine ), and no matter which print I try, in the middle it will just not stick on the bed and get dragged by the extruder. I have tried lowering the fan speed, configure the z-offset...nothing works.
    Any ideas ?
This would happen after an hour of printing or so, not right in the start.

    Thanks !

Do you always print with a raft? Try without and dail in your z offset through the wizards. If its the first layer that is printing on the raft thats causing the issue and you do want to use a raft its likely the seperation distance in the slicer isn't set right. (I dont use rafts whenever possible so cant help you much there).

    Hi there,
I print with raft and it’s definitely not the 1st later but rather progressive layers . Any ideas ?

yes a few come to mind. Would be nice to be able to watch the time lapse or a video of it happening?

first thing that comes to mind is a model error. I thought you had meant first layer so either the layer on the bed or the first layer after the raft. If its going to spaghetti I'd double check first layer adhesion (it may be knocking it loose, wipe down the bed with rubbing alcohol to get it nice and clean) then double check your printing warm enough. Its a balance. To hot and it will be a nightmare, to cold and you get sort of what your seeing there or bad layer adhesion. Run the models through a repair tool like azure or netfebb free edition just to see if there are errors. You can also upload your .stl files here and i can take a peek at them.

I’ll try to capture it on video. I’ve tried several models . Few of them were officially Robo models ..

Even a good .stl can go bad when made into gcode. :D. the other thing to check to to make sure the gantry is tight. Check the set screws are tight on both axis (the belt pulleys). Also if you can, push on the belts, do they all feel the same tension? If one is loose then your gantry needs squared back up (I can get you a link on how Robo says to do that if you'd like). The last bit of info is if you start getting frustrated start a tier 2 tech appointment with Robo. Let them know your frustration and failing prints repeatedly and see how they'd like to proceed. If we and them cant get you goin they need to swap you units as there may be an underlying issue with yours, but troubleshoot first :D

ah its because your warping ok. Need to clean the buildtak. I can see smudges on it (likely from finger prints). Any oils or grease/residue on the build tak will let the part warp and wreak havok. You also need to check your first layer height. Send us a photo of layer 1

    it is PLA? :D

the Z offset wizard is what you need to adjust. Redo it and fine tune z offset wizard after until your first layer looks like it shows in that blog post.

Might want to relevel the bed before both wizards (bed level wizard) looks like the left (looking into the machine) is lower than the right ? Could just be the picture.

Yes it’s PLA. I’m playing with the wizard for hours and can’t find what wrong. Does it look like the bed it too high ?
