Hi, for some reason my Robo R1 stops printing at the end of the second layer.
This has happened with different laptops, with differents models while running cura and matter control,
I already checked that everything is pluged in adequately.
I fotgot to metion that this happens while printing PLA (210°C and no heated bed) and ABS with heated bed.
    Any suggestions??
    Thanks.!!

Sometimes when the parts cooling fan comes on it blows too much air on the heat block which causes the temp to drop and the print to stop.

What do you get for the error log? Did you recently put new fans or ducts on?

I get no error in Cura nor Matter Control. It looks like if i had paused the print, but time keeps running.
And I haven´t changed fans or so from the printer :S.

It won't be a pop-up. If i remember right in the row of buttons in Cura's ponterface UI one will appear that says "error log".

In MatterControl you'd need to enable the terminal to see any errors.

    Poor design, I know

I wonder if this is related to the temperature drop off in the other thread.

Starts printing fine, then the print head temp drops like a rock. The end result is it looks like it only prints about 2 layers.

In MatterControl do you watch the temp? On mine it starts printing at 210 fine then drops to 208, 205, etc. Once it drops below 200 the print head stops moving.

Error log posted in the temperature thread.

That sounds like a bad/loose/flaky thermistor. The printer firmware will generate a TEMP FALL error if the temperature fluctuates like that. Sadly the hexagon does not use positive mounting for the hotend thermistor (there is no screw that holds it in, just the pressure of the black rubber boot).
