I have a new printer that I have only printed 3 models with. I am using Robo3d PLA filament. Some models have unsuccessful prints due to the first layer "stringing" and creating higher area that the printhead later runs into and creates a mess. the ends of the support rows are also stringy. I am using gluestick on the bed for adhesion and the "Medium" quality settings in Mattercontrol. Are there some settings that I can adjust to avoid this issue?

Hard to tell from teh picture, but it looks like your first layer is not properly laid down. The Z-offset is probably too high,
