I recently bought an E3D hot end to replace the stock one that came with my Robo 3d. While I was getting ready to wire it up, I noticed that the stock hot end on my printer came with a plug connecting the hotend to the wires that lead to the Arduino board. What I want to do is find the same kind of plug and hook the new hotend to that, so that way I don't have to remove the old plug to connect the E3D hotend. I've tried googling for 4-pin connectors (which is what this looks like) but I haven't been able to find the one on the Robo 3d. I've attached pictures of what it looks like. Anybody know what it's called?

I am trying to buy this connector on the hotend but can not find it please help!
I know it is a molex connector female; I bought a all metal hot end and need a connector so I don't have to wire it in from the base

Hmm, interesting, Robo3D started using connectors for the hotend... Definitely wasn't the case for Kickstarter model.

The one in the pictures above is the MALE, this is the FEMALE. I assume the pictures above are the one on the hot end. Since I do not have this rig, I can't compare it to mine.

follow those links it will take you to the pins your looking for "in the associated products section" of the table
these connectors can be configured different ways.. scroll through the listing of crimp pins and pick the one you need. here's another example that will fit those housings..

Thanks I appreciate it; I am trying to see if I can hook up my all metal hot end with the clip so it will be easier this way to unclip it. I hear that the regular fan mount does not fit with an all metal hotend. Is there a a way to take the fan mount off? I got the fan off but not the fan mount.

Thanks again for everyone's help; you guys are awesome!

Yes, the mount bracket/clip is held by one of the bolts that holds extruder on the carriage. Look under the carriage - you'll need a Philips screwdriver...

I used those part numbers and have made a couple of plugs to use with a hexagon. Haven't tested yet, but it heated up fine during an initial test. I made my cables a little longer so I could move the plug up the wire bundle and away from the carriage so it didn't get in the way like the stock one did at times.

@Jordanbanks: Hi, as it is Molex connector and Digikey is the authorized distributor for Molex parts and I think you should took the help of their technical support and tell them you need for hot end and they will provide you the exact Part Number.
