R/C Aircraft Quick Fix

    A little mishap and I broke two of the four wing-struts on my Pitts S12 1/4 Scale airplane. 15-minutes in CAD and 1.75 hrs printing and I have four new struts. They seem as strong as the originals, yet lighter.

    The white is the original, blue is just a trial run as that's what I had loaded in the machine. and then I printed the four red ones simultaneously. Looks like I'll be flying again tomorrow!

    Nice.
    I would think you could control the weight with the infill % (as well as material).
    I did that with the quad parts and it seemed to work.

    Oh, absolutely. .....20% worked fine for me in this instance.
