I seem to be having a problem removing prints when they are finished.

I know they are supposed to stick, but they seem to be sticking too well.I use the spatula but I seem to be tearing up the bottom layer, and can't seem to get under it without a lot of force.

How is everyone else removing their prints?

This. A couple of taps does the trick.

Sounds like you might be happy -- stuck is good :)
You could fiddle with you Z offset (raise it in tiny increments) and see if you like that better, but trust me, stuck is a good thing.

For larger prints I've actually gone to just hitting it with the handle of my scraper. I have found that is one of the easiest ways for me, but it just doesn't seem right.

I think I will just be happy with it, and try to carefully pry them off.
    Thanks for the answer.

Yep. The sharp pointy bit on my scraper works :)

Some filaments have been aggressive and take some effort.

Oh how so many people must envy you...my prints stick too well...1st world 3d printing problems :)

I find that a quick motion with the scraper works much more easily than a push and pry approach. Also the scraper will get under the prints much easier from one side of the blade than the other (bevel down).

I use the glue stick adhesion method with both pla and abs.

Its Hard to wait long enough, but if you let your bed cool to ambient temps, sometimes abs will pop off the glass by itself! If not, sometimes i can twist it off like an oreo.

I am usually too impatient and just ram the scraper into it (with little force, but really fast) and it will send the part flying... It doesnt seem to damage it as far as i can tell.

For PLA...let the bed cool down . Then I use a refreezable gel ice pack (its like one for sore muscles or something) and set it on the print (if it is flatish)or around the base of the print. In a few minutes you will hear a pop. The print comes right off! I use aquanet for adhesion with this technique andhave never had edges curl or problems removing the print with PLA.
