    Could we have a section under the R2 forum, where we have working profiles for the different filament types?

    For example, a section called PETG, and a topic for Cura, where folks can post their profiles, and another topic for S3D, where folks could post their working files there?

    Maybe I don't have the hierarchy correct? could be type, then brand, then slicer?
    for example

    PETG - HatchBox - yellow - S3D - 0.1mm
    PETH - eSun - red - Cura for Robo - 0.2mm

    ideas, comments ?

    Yeah sounds like a nice idea needs little bit more brainstorming though

    hey @supercazzola in the good ole R1 Days we just added a per filament basis in the filament section. If I test a new filament and really like it I do a thread on it in filament section (or try to) and include my S3D Profile and a few screen shots of my settings since not everybody uses S3D. On the flip side of that, everyones going to be running considerably differently (temp, retraction, speeds, cooling etc) spool to spool or even machine to machine. Its all specific to you and where your at but does give a good "ballpark". Please start up a thread. You can certainly even do one that states "filament settings" and load up settings and brands that way :D.

    Getting an overhaul on the forum isn't something us Mods or Admins can handle, Robo has to do that and its a bit...complex to accomplish :D

    It might be less helpful than you think since key elements of the profiles are going to be environment driven and not work as well somewhere else on something else. Start a thread and see where it goes.

    Or... start a github and everyone could push their slicer's profiles into it. Imagine a hierarchy like:

    Code:
    * R2
      * Cura
        * Robo
          * PLA
            * 1-75mm.fdm_material
      *Simplify3D
    * C2
