OK, I have a robo 3d plus 1 and it is jammed. I do not have the 2 screws on the side like everyone shows in their videos. How do I remove it to remove the jam?

Thank you for the link. Unfortunately I cannot get the front screw to loosen. I did manage to get it just enough to be able to pry the holder out and get to the extruder. Unfortunately I broke one of the wires in the process. Managed to get it spliced but not happy that I may have to go through this again if it clogs again. Guess I will order a spare extruder. I do not see them on the site as it says it is sold out. Anyone have any suggestions. This is only 2 months old.

The hexagon can be had anywhere, not just Robo (for example amazon has them) or you can upgrade to an E3D or Prometheus.

If the wire you broke was for the thermistor you can replace just that.
If the wire you broke was for the heater core you can replace just that too :)

You do not need an new extruder.
