Try another slicer. That sort of thing is totally controlled by the slicer.
There are some settings (exactly where and what depends on the slicer) that can help, but it is easier to just try a different one.

 

some call it separation distance, some call it interference distance but somewhere in whatever you decide to slice with you'll see a bunch of options. If it doesn't explain in the slicer what they are go to the slicers FAQ page and it should help you out so you know what all the settings mean and do

I dont believe there is a slicer that does the direct from slicer to octoprint, @WheresWaldo or @mark tomlinson may know of a plugin and the how to to make it work with other slicers, but not I

 

Not sure how WiFi is in the picture.
If you mean you want to remotely access the printer... then the slicer can use whatever the computer uses.
