Answered setting the fan

    is there some code or way to set the fan so it always turns on when your print starts, or am I missing something in the settings menu on how to set my fan

    the part fan? Its controlled by your slicer in the cooling section. You typically dont want it on for layer 1.

    There are at least three fans and the one that blows on the printed parts is controlled by the slicer as @Geof pointed out. The one on the side of the HOTEND needs to always be on and the ones under the printer need to always be on.
