    Wow, thanks! And your cable chain will defiantly fix the problems I've been having too. Do i just put a layer of aluminum tape on to insulate it?

    Thanks for all the help. I've taped down my wires and I can use the full build plate again! Funny how something that simple changes things so much. I'll look into the insulation now, thanks for the link :)

    If purchasing this heater you suggest
    12V 150W Kapton Bed Heater- 200mm x 275mm
    $19.99

    Would you need to modify any settings or its a simple drop in and go?

    Depends what kind of thermistor it has but I'd guess it's probably safe to drop in. Website doesn't specify so you may need to ask.
