Ive cleaned the hobbed bolt, tried to push filament through by hand, it oozes out a little bit, but not enough to be printing...Im fearing that something is clogging the opening of the hole.
What is the best method to deal with this. In the past with my old printrbot I would heat up the hod end, remove the tip and with a blowtorch heat it to the point all the plastic burns off, then clean the ash off. Is this a good method or not?

That is still a good method, although if you heat the extrduer and remove the brass tip you may be able to unclog it without the torch.
If not, take the torch to it. I keep spare nozzles for that (and to be able to use different sizes as well).

I just cleaned it out, something was obviously in there. Used the blowtorch method....
