Partial Answer stepper motor for extruder will not run during print, works from control panel in software

When I start a print the extruder motor does not run, it will extrude if I use the button on the control panel in the software, extruder is up to temp, cooling fan is running. Feels like the motor is locked up during the print but once I cancel the print the motor turns over manual (turning the gear) fine.

I did just install a new hot end.

I switch back to the old hot end no different, also it does do retract moves I think
