My Robo 3D printer has developed a stepper problem. All 3 axis will only step in one direction. It started out as a problem with the steppers stalling in the Z+ direction and got worse until none of them will step in both directions. The power supply put out a nice 12.1 V with or without stepping.

I figure it's the ramps or the arduino mega?

    Thoughts?

Likely the RAMPS or the Pololu stepper driver cards, but it would be odd for all of them to fail.
Given the symptoms I would lean towards the RAMPS.

Is this manual controls or during a print?

Steppers only moving in one direction can be caused by endstops open circuit or not connected.

Bingo... One of the z-axis switches was too low on the nut and it was not switching.

    Nice job guys!
