    Hey everyone,

So I have been trying to print with Black PLA 1.75mm Filament. Its stiffer than other filaments I've used. However, after about 5-10 layers, the filament gets cut into to much for the gear to grab hold and extrude anymore filament. It puts a big notch in the filament where the gear was trying to push it down into the extruder. I've tried several different temperatures, none seem to help. I've tried adjusting the Z lift, and am trying the retraction as well. If anyone has any suggestions I would be more than happy to hear them.

    Thank you

Try seasoning your nozzle and running an oiler

Oiler would be my first suggestion.

I have never actually done that before, how do you season and run an oiler threw it?

I'll give that a try! Might be just the problem I've been having!
