How do I stop a print I have started from my SD card? I am on a R1 using MatterControl.

It has not started yet but the printer is warming up and I cant stop it. I was just trying to figure out how it was done.

    Thanks.

One way is to hit the kill button on the LCD controller

This freezes the Arduino. You have to disconnect/reconnect or reset to get it working again.

My understanding was you could kill it from matter control controls, though if that doesn't work you could try reconnecting to the printer in MC, which will reset the arduino

MC should have a print kill button.
If not that is a glaring oversight.

Well, at a minimum it should have START/PAUSE/STOP...for Sd card functions.
Sorry, just not familiar enough with MC.
I looked in the version I had installed and I don't see it, but I may be way out of date (v1.1).

I'm on version 1.2 and I didn't see it but I will look again.

As far as I can see there is a print button and a remove button. I don't want to start it again because it was a pain to stop it last time.

Looks like I might want to get a LCD controller. A big red stop button would be a welcome addition to the MC software.

Also a easier way to keep your firmware up to date would be great as well.

Here is a pic showing no stop button and an update notice I can't do anything about.

That's not printing so the stop button wouldn't show up, if you tell it to print it should change to a stop button.

    LCD's are a nice upgrade.

You could try flashing the firmware here, that should put you up to date: http://help.robo3dprinter.com/Wiki/RoBo_3D_Firmware

If you don't know I would suggest not messing with it.

I wanted to change my heat settings to go below 195, you said I would have to flash it, correct?

You probably have m8 autolevel. But it's best to measure your thread pitch or count per 1 in.

18 threads per in is 5/16 and 1.25mm per thread is m8
