    Hello,

I just upgraded my printer head to an e3d head and I have noticed that the thermistor is now reading ~ 20 oC when the heated head is not on. I am guessing this is the temp of the headed block and that it should be okay???

If not is there way to callable the thermistor reading?

    thanks,
    Jason

Is your heated bed not heating? I'm very confused.

    Hey Mike,

No I have a PLA robo ed. I replaced the printer head with a new one: http://e3d-online.com/E3D-HotEnds.

I reused the thermostat that came with the original hot end, but now when I look at the temp when repetier connects for the first time it shows a temp of about 20 oC ... I am assuming that this is ambient temp and that I do not need to worry about it. The only reason that I am asking is I recall this temp was closer to 0 before I switched out the head

    Thanks,
    Jason.

That sounds about ambient (at little low for my ambient, but close).

Out side of pla getting stuck in the feeder evry so often. No issues printing.

I need to fine a constant 12v for the fan as they suggest that it should be on all the time.

    Go leafs go!!!

Just one of the power supply 12v rails then. Or tap it where it hits the Ramps board.
