Hello all. As a request from the community, I have setup a way for selective mods and upgrades to be labeled as a "Community Favorite". The only hard part is a way to vote for that thread to be marked as a favorite. So for now, if you guys can recommend an upgrade/mod in this thread, I can go ahead and label it as that. The label will be the same as shown this thread is marked, just as an example.

Very cool. If I could also suggest some how when people like it the creator gets the likes added to his profiles might be a bit to tough but would be nice.

I recommend first of all Cambo's
Z stop switch modification: EXTREMELY HELPFUL; Easy to implement; Not a lot of extra things needed.

Hey Jeff, that would be hard. What is the URL to that mod?

Harry, it's posted right here, and I vote second on the z axis switch mod. That was my biggest (and still is) problem with this printer, keeping the extruder at the correct height for the printer bed. I am fortunate enough to have both harbor freight and Napa auto parts across the street, so I went and bought the 3/8th inch hose and bolts.

You could just edit the first link in your sticky and put the URLs to the RoBo posts at the top.

You wanted people to vote for the best mods so they are "up'ed" or you can just sticky them to the top, or you can edit your email and update the links in the Original Post (OP) that point to other forum message links.

I have a few cut car 3/8ths by 1.2 inch length car hoses, waiting for the time to take off the cover and drill the hole for the screw mod.

I would guesstimate if you had the hose(standoff mine was hard plastic) and the screw and the drill ready to go this mod would take about 4 mins. 5 mins, if you want to set the z height afterward. Extremely easy to do and VERY WELL worth it.

Cover the mod details in the thread, not here please? It will avoid confusion for the rookies. :)

He means the original z-switch thread. Where Cambo originally posted the mod.

Sorry might be a silly question... is there anywhere that all of the community favourites hang out together? or is this the only one? which came already on my R3D kudos!

    I'd probably look to Melody's faq: melodybliss.org/robo3d
She's doing a really great job cataloging everything. I've put up a collection on thingiverse as well, but it's more of a catch all than a best of.
