Hey all, it seems like the extruder assembly is a bit loose even with all of the screws I can find tightened down well. The vertical plastic block that the stepper and gears are attached to seems to have a loose connection to the horizontal top of the assembly (also, why does the last screw of every part need to be behind another part?). Is there somewhere to lock this down better that I am missing?

Can you post a picture somewhere (imagur or other site -- uploading photos here is really not workable) and provide a link to view what parts you are concerned with?
Probably an easy way to sort it, but I want to be sure we are talking about the same thing

Yellow is the part that's moving, red is the interface point I was talking about. Not urgent at the moment since I just had my bed cable burn out =/

If that part is loose/moving (other than the spring loaded bit) then the only way to tighten that up is to remove the release arm and the cover -- there are some screws behind that. This shows you how to get it apart. I clean mine every so many hours and the gantry needs to be lubricated periodically. Tightening and straightening that occasionally is also advised
