Unanswered Top Cover

    Is it ok to just leave the top cover off? Seems to just get in the way.

    I haven't had mine on in .. months.
    If you don't have Z axis deflection on higher prints, you can live without it.

    In principle you don't need it but once you get to printing at higher speeds or high on the Z you might want it

    Mike has a good point, if you go taller you probably should go slower without the top rob brackets. Mine (a beta) never had them, but still taller -> slower. At least at the higher layers.
