As you can see, im trying to print a dome shaped object, seems like something going on with some of the layers. Any idea what could cause this? Using Simplify3d PLA and high quality with no supports. All default settings for Robo3d[IMG]

do you have stabilizers on your z axis smooth rods?
to me it looks like a combination of no or loose stabilizers and printing to fast.

If you haven't calibrated the extruder I suggest you do that as well. A bit of over or under extrusion would not help.

that brings a good point, which R1 printer do you have? the 5/16 rods, the 8mm rods that don't go to the very top of the case, or the 8mm rods that go up into a divot like hole formed in the top of the case.
