Hey guys,So printer has been awesome. I am using an oiler with canola oil for my PLA filament. I have a print that I want to use ABS on, I wont be running the ABS through the extruder but will the oil that is in the extruder do any damage when the ABS runs through the extruder? I didn't know if it could cause a jam or anything. Thanks for the help!

    Nope

Works fine to leave it on with PLA. Nylon, ABS, etc.

It only really adds much value for PLA, but won't hurt the others.

Yeah i oil my abs sometimes. Seems a little pointless to me but certainly won't harm anything. Occasionally you'll have buildup that pushes through the threads and such that looks ugly but that's about it.

Perfect! Thanks guys, I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't cause a gum up with ABS and block the extruder.
