Vapor Smoothing PLA - It can be done!

    That's great stuff. Do they feel softer like with ABS smoothing?

    Mike, I'm not quite sure what you mean. ABS smoothed parts are softer until the vapor dries off. After that, they seem to be the same to me.

    The parts definitely feel stronger afterwards. The PET parts become a little more flexible.

    This is definitely different. The PLA doesn't fully dissolve in the material like ABS does. You can't use it to make 'PLA slurry'. There is definitely some amount of melting / solvating going on though.
