Which is top dog

    When I bought my printer I knew I wanted the XXL screen. I was hoping to prep file on computer put on a sd card and print while using computer or having it turned off.

    So which is more important the setting of the program or the settings in the firmware?

    Gcode tells the printer what to do. The XXL LCD/Ramps/Arduino tells it how to do it.

    You get more flexibility with software than firmware.
    That said a computer with the LCD gives the best of everything.
