Recently my R1+ has developed a distressing character flaw. Both the X and Y axes are about 20 mm (or more) from where the should be. When I do a G28 then a G29 both the X and Y hit the end stops and grind, The print then starts higher (in index number) then center on the bed. My question...do I correct this with X and Y offsets in S3D or is this an issue for the configuration file?

I did do a PID calibration several months ago but this is more recent ... has come out of the blue.

That has to be the home switches.
The HOME switches are the only position sensors the Robo has. When you tell it to go home it drives until the switches are tripped.

Either the switch itself is not working correctly or the wires from the endstop to the RAMPS is loose/disconnected.

And where, pray tell, are the "home switches?"

When the switch goes home the bolt presses a switch bolted to the black plastic on the lead screw on the left for x. Under the bed bolted to the middle plate is the location for y.

    The small black micro-switches
Here is a picture of the Z one (there are two one on each side -- even the X and Y switches are identical looking)

The X is to the side of the carriage you can see it in this pic:

The Y is under the bed. Sorry, no photo lift the bed and you will see it.
