    Hi everyone!
Not sure if anyone has had this issue or knows how to remedy it however when I manually slide (by hand) the X axis back and forth it seems to get jammed in a few spots. By jammed, I mean stuck, so it's not moving smoothly. My prints are fine but I think there is something wrong that could cause future problems. Would you think that the bearings might be shot? The belt is nice and tight, the motor is secure and everything seems to be in alignment. Any ideas?

Yes, that is a symptom of bad bearings. You need to replace the LM8UU bearings in the X carriage (4 I think -- but get spares since they are every where in the printer)

Hey Mark! Thanks for the feedback. I finally replaced all 4 of them and the printing is going very smoothly!! I must admit, it was a big hassle to get those bearings out of there... Had to resort to some rather un-orthodox measures!
