I have an original Robo and have the Y-axis slider upgrade. Along with auto-bed leveling it is great but I do notice that the bed isn't stiff enough when the auto-leveling starts. The weight of the carriage is enough to push the bed slightly lower than its "natural resting" spot. Hard to imagine but almost as if the bearings have a little bit of springyness in their holders. Any thoughts?

Is this in the rear corners without magnets?

This is an issue on the stock robo as well. I'll try and get some video tonight.

I was thinking of putting a small piece of plastic on top of the guide blocks of the y-axis to keep it from sagging there at the expense of a increased friction.

paper... folded up and poked in :)

A printed plastic solution would be sweet.

I should specify that it is most noticed front to back, not left to right.

Well yeah, that's to be expected if you supply a decent force to a large span

If you put like PTFE nub on the pillow block you could have that act as middle support to help with deflecion

Didn't mean to skip out on this! After watching closely a few more times it is indeed because of only having a middle magnet in the back and not on the corners. I'll print up some spacers.

Why do you only have 1 magnet in the back?

I received one of the first (if not the first) of the new y-axis setups to beta test and help them create an install write up. I guess at that time they only put one magnet in the back. Or maybe they are still doing it this way, don't know.

Michael got the literal first one. Newest models since like August have 4 magnets in all corners

I was wondering because mine has 4 magnets.
3 seems like a bad idea from the start.
