I've managed to make my first print. Even though its proven a herculian task, I've managed to get the result below.
I intended printing a CALIBRATION CIRCLE.

Well this is better than the nothing you had before!

But now lets get you printing better. Looks to me like your bed belt is loose. On the new beds there are screws you can tighten on both ends of the bed, not sure about the earlier models, but Im sure you can figure it out. All your belts should be pretty tight so theres no slack in them and you can make them twang like a guitar string...just not too tight :)

hello Mike, I just tightened it but still had the same result. Am printing on medium quality. Is there anything else I can do? I also noticed that the print wont stick to the bed after 5 minutes of printing, My bed temperature is 60 degrees

You're too high now. Lower your nozzle a bit.

sorry Mike, still have some issues here. My bed level is not even, It prints perfectly on the right side where the z switch is, but fails at the left. I've tried all techniques to get an even bed but couldn't. Any tips? Checked it a lot of times on paper with no luck , then I attempt a print hoping it would be better but still no improvement. Only improvement is I understand the problem but have no solution. Also, filament messes up the first lines and then affect the levels sometimes and drag the whole print along.:)

Do you have the original Robo (with the Z switch on the smooth rod)? If so, the bed levelers tesseract 'invented' work amazing. Until I swapped for the linear bed upgrade I was using them and they never failed.

If you have the R1 the switches are located in a different spot, someone with experience on that model can chime in.

Yes, take a read through @tesseract thread on first layer... without a good first layer you will not get a great print.

    Here's tesseract's writeup: printedsolid.com/firstlayer.
Assuming you don't have auto bed leveling, it sounds like you need to print some bed levelers. Depending on how bad it is, You can sort of fudge around not having a level bed by using a raft or an overextruded first layer.

My order got to me in March. Its the PLA + ABS printer, before the R1 was announced. Am still working on leveling the bed as you said, I'll get back to you.

even if you can't print the bed levelers, adding springs in there will absolutely help you get the bed leveled out relative to the print head (then you can print the plastic leveler shells if you want).

Yeah that would work the reason for the printed shells is to give some lateral support but the springs should help enough to get them printed

Have been thinking of creating a new thread and updating it with what i am doing so people can see both errors and instructions. Or should I just continue here?
