Yeah, I just swapped them, didn't change anything. All the stepper drivers are aligned the same.

can you upload pictures of your ramps board, you'll need to separate it from your arduino to get both sides.

Do you want it with or without the wires?

Would it be possible to share a picture of the Z axis switches in their correct form? I had an issue where they were dislodged and I'm not sure I put them back the right way. Please advise :)

Hey Steve, I assume your after the z-axis stopper switch? I've attached a photo of the left-hand side switch (not sure which model printer you have but mine is the one with 'auto-levelling' and the switches don't use bump screws . The switch is put as low down as possible to that it is still activated so when the hot end hits the bed it deactivates straight away. Hope that's what you were after. 20140609_095255.jpg

I'm pretty sure it's a faulty z-axis stepper driver. I had to re-adjust the potentiometers on the stepper drivers to get all the axis working normal again, they must have got stuffed up when I moved them around the first time. The motors don't make any funny noises now.

Once I re-adjusted the voltages, I decided to swap the x and z axis drivers again and sure enough the x-axis stops working like the z-axis did. Jerry's sending out a new stepper driver so hopefully that should fix everything. I'll keep you posted.

hello. i just got my robor1 days ago and my z-axis died on my second print. it won't move no matter what, until i followed this post.i found that a stepper driver for my z-axis is dead by swapping the drivers axis to the Y. So I have one un-functioning driver it seems. Is there an adjustment for the driver or should i just have robo replace it? Thanks!

There's a potentiometer dial you can adjust the current on. Though if it's not working it might be fried and need replacing.

Yup. Get them to swap it. I have a kit full of spare ones now (they are cheap).
